Offering free online CPD to dentists, therapists, hygienists, technicians and nurses. For a small payment you can opt to receive a certificate in the post for verified CPD. It’s your choice.

Dental Additions: How it works |

- Dental Additions online courses are all available from the Courses tab at the top of this page. You will need to register some details in order to take a course, so that we may send you certificates for Verified CPD and provide you with support when needed. We will never give your details to any other person or business.
- Hands-on courses will usually be run using the excellent facilities at the School of Clinical Dentistry, University of Sheffield. This is centrally located in the UK, and has good connections for travel. If a particular course is popular, we will do our best to offer it in other locations.
The Dental Additions online courses are designed by trained dental educators; mostly academic staff at the School of Clinical Dentistry, University of Sheffield. Our online courses are designed to be interactive, informative, and enjoyable. Our hands-on sessions will be exactly that: hands-on. No boring lectures from us. Each and every course has clear learning objectives, and you have the opportunity to feedback your comments to Dental Additions during and after each course.
A lot of Dental Additions is free, or costs only a small fee to cover costs or for verification:
- Taking Dental Additions online courses for General CPD is free. Print the web-certificate as evidence of completing the course for your record of evidence.
- If you want to convert a completed course into Verified CPD, a course processing fee of £10 is payable (see Certificates in this section).
- Hands-on courses can be booked and paid for in advance through this site. Once registered we will keep you informed of any last minute changes by email or telephone.
Evidence for your records is important.
- At Dental Additions we provide an easily printable ‘Record of Completion’ for each course you complete. This will allow you to convert your learning time at Dental Additions into General CPD hours.
- You can convert any completed course into Verified CPD by paying a processing fee of £10 – we will then send you a certificate for your records in the post. For security, each certificate will have an individual tracking number and be sent to the address you registered with on this site.
